Family and Friends:
Olde Glory Contractors has learned first-hand what it’s like to have something you’ve worked so hard for, and cared so much about, be destroyed by fire. Friday evening, November 18th, on Baltimore Pike, just outside Littlestown, PA, our main office became engulfed in flames. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. We are grateful to report that no one was injured in the fire. As most of you know, the office had a ‘home away from home’ feeling about it, complete with two parakeets, two cats, and two large puppies during the day. The puppies were safe at home at the time of the fire with Olde Glory owner, Bill Dell; however, we lost our two parakeets. Our two office cats, Fred and George, were rescued by our very own Michael Martello. He found them cowering in a small area on the lower level of the building, while firefighters were fighting the blaze.
Though we cannot possibly capture and convey the feelings of all our team members, we all share a deep sense of loss. The office was a symbol of our growth over the years and a product of our teamwork.
It is important to note that we have not changed anything with our operations. We are still fully functional and available to handle all our customers with their needs.
We give our deep heartfelt thanks to all our families and friends who have offered their support to help us through this unfortunate event. Your sincere concern for our safety and future is genuinely appreciated. We are also grateful to the first responders who risked their lives to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings.
Olde Glory Contractors specializes in all facets of building restoration. This is what we do. The restoration process has already begun, and if anyone is capable of restoring Olde Glory to its ‘Olde Glory,’ it is Olde Glory Contractors!
